Bouzouki School

Following in the footsteps of his father, Polykandriotis has been teaching the 'Rebetiko' style and the art of the bouzouki, baglama and tzoura since 1981.

Yianni's excellent teaching style allows students of all ages to learn techniques by learning to play songs as soon as possible. This allows his students to build up their repertoire of songs at an early stage allowing students of different levels to perform together and gain the experience of performing in larger groups such as the 'EPOMENOI'.

Yianni provides private daytime and evening tuition at the convenience of your place of residence. Additionally, every Tuesday, after his radio show on LGR, he runs the School of Greek Bouzouki at the Greek Orthodox Community of St. Panteleimon, between 4pm and 11pm:
